Woolly house socks were originally made by my nan Oma Rosi when I was little - she would make socks for all her grandchildren regularly and we loved them, and still do! Today, I keep a selection of the socks in different sizes in my shoe cupboard for guests to wear when they visit to keep their feet warm. And I still wear my favourite pair regularly too of course when lounging about in the house, to warm my feet up in winter, or even use them as an additional layer in my hiking boots when we get out and about!
